In Memory...

It is with deep regret that we bring the sad news of the passing of Sabine Bohmer. Sabine was a much-loved and respected volunteer and a friend to many in the Norfolk Tortoise Club. She had an unwavering love and dedication to the care of tortoises and turtles. Even after moving from the UK to Amsterdam, she regularly travelled back to offer the club her help and expertise.

Many of you will have met Sabine working behind the scenes at fundraising events, sharing her knowledge on the health-check desk or sharing duties at tortoise HQ. She would always be the first up in the morning to tend to the tortoises and last to go to bed.

Sabine will be remembered for so many reasons, including her boundless kindness, intelligence and passion. Our thoughts are with her family and her partner Matty.
